WHO WE ARE

We are a dedicated group working to break the silence around menstrual health and hygiene. Our mission is to challenge the taboos, myths, and stigma surrounding menstruation and create a world where periods are treated with dignity, awareness, and respect.
Through education, community outreach, and advocacy, we aim to empower girls, women, and all menstruators with the knowledge, support, and access they deserve. We collaborate with schools, health workers, and local leaders to spark conversations, distribute hygiene products, and promote menstrual equity in underserved areas.
We believe that menstruation is natural, not shameful, and that breaking period taboos is the first step toward gender equality, health, and human rights.
We work to ensure that menstruation is no longer a source of shame, silence, or inequality.
We spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and health through workshops, school sessions, and community dialogues.
We break taboos and myths by encouraging open, respectful conversations around periods.
We distribute sanitary pads and menstrual products to girls and women in need — especially in rural and low-income areas.
We train young girls on how to manage their periods safely, hygienically, and confidently.
We work with health experts and educators to provide accurate information and medical support.
We promote sustainable menstruation using eco-friendly alternatives and local production.
Our goal is to make menstruation a normal, respected, and supported part of life — not a barrier to education, dignity, or opportunity.
What We Do

Numbers Speak For Themselves!
Our Hardworking Volunteers
Volunteering with the Pothipatri Foundation has been a deeply enriching journey. I got the opportunity to work closely with communities, especially women and children, on issues that truly matter — from menstrual hygiene and nutrition to dignity and empowerment.
Each interaction taught me humility, resilience, and the power of listening. Whether it was distributing hygiene kits, conducting awareness sessions, or simply being present for someone’s story — I realized that real change begins with small, consistent acts of compassion.

Arya Mishra
Volunteer, PPF
Volunteering has been a powerful experience of learning, giving, and growing. It allowed me to serve communities, connect with people, and contribute to meaningful change. Each moment spent in the field reminded me that even small actions can make a big difference.
Proud to be a part of something bigger than myself.
